May has been one heck of a roller coaster! It’s been crazy with my trip to Washington D.C., launching the boutique, and everything else in between. I’ve been fighting my exhaustion for the past few weeks that my body decided to shut down last night when I found myself waking up at 6 this morning! I literally lied down for a little bit expecting that I really needed the rest.

Now that I’m all caught up with sleep, I’m back to my 100% self again! Anyway, I’ve launched Jule Avenue a few weeks ago and decided not to announce it until now. I hope you guys enjoy the site! You’ll be seeing lots of changes as Jule Avenue is still a baby, and I would like to cater it to the majority! I hope you all visit it soon! Use this coupon code to receive 30% OFF all your order: HOUSEOFAKIH30. Coupon expires June 30, 2016.

Griffith Park With My Sister

I’ve always considered myself as the black sheep. Even though, I come from a huge family, I’ve managed to somehow be the odd one out. There’s nothing wrong with my family, but they seem to project a stronger bond with each other in which I feel is too late for me to join. Still, I consider my best friend Lorraine as family. She understands my mixed emotions and she’s doesn’t mind a long distance friendship! So, when I got to see her last Monday, I made sure to squeeze as many activities as I can with her!

One of the places I always visit in LA is the Griffith Observatory. You haven’t seen Los Angeles until you’ve seen it from that vantage point– it is awe-inspiring! When we got there, we made sure to take a bunch of selfies– because BFFs are obligated to take them! Right? 😛

I had a slow morning last Sunday, and it was full of doggy cuddles. I tried to be productive, but I couldn’t find the motivation to do anything! I think everyone can relate to me when I say start describing what a lazy Sunday consist of, right? Bundled up in a blanket and watching tv with hair in a messy bun anyone? Subscribe me to that, please!

I’ve also been taking my dogs to the dog park lately which is so therapeutic for me. I love seeing them play with other dogs while I watch them run around and mingle! It’s honestly an overload of cuteness at its best.

Besides that, I’ve been consistently preoccupied with my upcoming online store. The only thing that’s a bit frustrating about the whole thing is the waiting game. Sure, I do everything on my own, but they’re some materials that I’m waiting for in the mail for a smooth operation; I’m talking about shipping materials, products, logo production, and other branding necessities. It’s a lot of stuff!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week lovely ladies & gentlemen!

I’ve been a busy bee lately! I’m launching a boutique next month, and I’m beyond excited about it. I’ve been doing a lot of homework on marketing, sales, SEO, branding, and so many other factors that is helpful in business development. I started playing with the idea a few months ago, but postponed it until now. I’m surrounded by so many business owners at work, that I was inspired to strive for the same thing. Surround yourself with people who has the same drive for success!
