Unwinding an Introvert

I feel like I have to address this “issue” to many people because they have the tendency to misunderstand my quiet demeanor to insult. I think many of you are familiar with introversion and extroversion since you see it everywhere in popular sites like Buzzfeed. I think the terms are becoming well known in the pop culture specially with millennials. Seriously, it’s about time because I’m so tired of telling people that sometimes (actually A LOT of times), I’m okay being by myself. To many people solitude sounds like a nightmare, but to me– it’s paradise. Place me in a room where there is a good internet service, book, food, and a furry pet dog to cuddle with and I would cancel going out to a party! There’s just something about silence that speaks volumes to me. I may sound like I just came from a horrifying movie specially when humans tend to be very social species, but trust me on this. I’m quiet not because I’m judging you, I’m quiet because it’s in my nature.

That being said, introverts unwind in many things through creative outlets. Mine being photography, blogging, surfing the net for more inspirations and more. When we ask for space, it’s not because we’re tired of you. We need a lot of time to energize! Get it? Got it? Good!

Are you and introvert or an extrovert?

Too Much Inspiration But So Little Time

I stay true to buying flowers every Friday specially when they are on sale. Truth be told, I snagged all these flowers for $6 last Friday, and I couldn’t be anymore happier. By night time, I was arranging them on my kitchen counter almost resembling a horticulture lab with cool air breezing through my apartment window. It was pure bliss. The next day, I gathered up all my decors and assembled all this! It looks like Pinterest threw up all over my table, right? That’s a good thing for a blogger like me. You can never have too much inspiration in life. Sometimes, I have more inspirations than I have more time!

I hope you’re all having a fantastic Sunday! I challenge all of you to do something creative this coming week!

I was fascinated by the different pigments of colors these citruses that I had to take a photo of them. These were actually photographed a couple of weeks ago, but I found that bright colors like oranges were difficult to edit so I postponed them for a bit until now. I have blog plans for this coming weekend that I’m very excited about.

Is it Friday yet? No?! Well, I hope you’re all having a lovely midweek! Until then!
xoxo,
Abby

There’s good and bad news to having weekend days off. The good news is that, well… It’s the weekend and everyone with normal a schedule gets to enjoy it with you. The bad news is when you need to go for a doctor’s appointment but none of those days are ever an option. So then, you’re left requesting some time off to take that much needed errands out of the way. Today, I did just that.

I want to say that it’s been one eventful day, but it really hasn’t been. I’ve been running around since the morning doing things that I can’t normally do on the weekend as mentioned above, and fixing paperwork for school. Also, I’ve been feeling under the weather which is making me feel irritated about everything and anything! The only thing that cheered me up was this group chat that I started with my former coworkers and a stop to this bakery that I’ve been wanting to go to for months.

It seems as though my blogs has been out of whim lately. I really didn’t intend to take these shots, but I needed a creative outlet to clear my head. I think they turned out well, don’t you?

I hope you are all having a super fantabulous week!

Note: The truffles are from an event that I attended hosted by Yelp

WordPress & All

I’m really grateful for everyone who has read my blog, and for those who has genuinely related themselves to whatever shenanigans that I’ve posted here. As some of you might have noticed, I’m still trying to figure out what I really want from this little space of mine.

You may be seeing a few [drastic] changes here in a couple of days because I’ve decided to switch to WordPress. I work for a boss that’s dedicated his profession using such a tool so I thought, I should start learning it myself. This could be fun!
